The procession to the graveside went down Sheridan Avenue which curves down the hill from Arlington House (aka The Custis-Lee Mansion) past the Kennedy grave site to the grave where Helen had been interred 34 years previously. Visible in this picture is the caisson, the casket team, and Ernie's two-stared Air Force Major General's Flag. The officer immediately following the flag is M/G Jeffery Musfeldt, representing the Chief of Staff of the Air Force at the funeral.
