Six weeks after the funeral, after the ground had had time to settle, a final headstone was put in place. This picture was taken Memorial Day Weekend, 2006. The Cemetery places the small American flags at the base of every headstone on this weekend. Ed placed the flowers. The two stars at the top represent his final rank of Major General. The text for Helen was copied from the original headstone, correcting her unit number.
