Ernie was a Shriner While at Ramstein, as one of the few Shriner/Mason pilots, he would regularly fly a group of Shriner/Masons in a "Gooney Bird" (C-47, AKA DC-3) to Scotland for events. They would land at the Edinburgh airport. This picture was taken at at a Masonry Conclave in the spring of 1958. The other two men in the picture were not identified.
