Both Ernie and Helen were well liked by the 20th TFW. This drawing was Ed Goodhue's salute to their departure and appeared in the last Wingman published while they were still there. Some notes: RAF Wethersfield was frequently refered to as both "the Patch" and "Wetherspatch". RAF Mildenhall was the departure point for passengers returning to the United States. The meaning of "220 PFT" is not known
